🪷🪷Tak Bat Devo Rohana
🧑🦲🧑🦲We invite Buddhist devotees of our village, the people of Nong Chim, to join together in offering alms bowls of rice and dry food to the monks on the said day.
🪷🪷This is an important Buddhist tradition to commemorate
the day when the Buddha descended from the Tavatimsa heaven, and expounded the Dhamma to His mother and the celestial beings
Tak Bat Devo is not only about making merit but also about preserving Buddhism and nurturing our minds together to bring about happiness, peace, and joy in sharing, promoting goodness as inspiration for living our lives with virtue and compassion, to build good relationships, unity, and generosity in our community of Nong Chim
Let us together preserve Buddhism and maintain our beautiful customs, traditions, and culture 🙏
